Small business expansions to provide careers, new investments to Ann Arbor area

Healthcare technology company, Workit Health, founded in 2015 and headquartered in Ann Arbor, is experiencing “rapid growth” and with a need for an expanded workforce, plans to open a larger office in Ann Arbor. LANSING — Two projects, envisioned to generate 279 new, effectively-having to pay work opportunities, and produce a personal expense of $27.2 million in the Ann Arbor region, received support in April from the Michigan Strategic Fund, a news release from the Michigan Financial Development Corporation introduced.

“This $27.9 million financial commitment will make hundreds of exceptional employment in the Ann Arbor location as we carry on employing our Michigan Back to Do the job approach to get our point out again on its toes,” Gov. Gretchen Whitmer stated in the news release. “These business expansions in Ann Arbor will lead to the ongoing economic restoration by bringing jobs in strategic sectors like tech, to assistance Michigan’s long-term economic health and build possibility for citizens throughout the state.”
