COVID-19: Ryanair ordered to get rid of ‘irresponsible’ Jab and Go advert | Enterprise News

Ryanair has been purchased to take out an “irresponsible” advert depicting deceptive claims about coronavirus vaccinations by the marketing watchdog.

The Marketing Standards Authority (ASA) stated it had gained 2,370 issues about the advert – which was shown from December to January – generating it the 3rd most complained about of all time.

The ASA ruling explained: “We instructed Ryanair DAC to make sure their ads did not mislead viewers about the influence that COVID-19 vaccines would have on their capability to vacation overseas in the course of Easter and summer months 2021, and to make sure their advertisements did not stimulate irresponsible behaviour.”
